Recently I have become interested in seascapes and I have been practicing at least once a month. The focal point is always tricky for me because I feel that the painting should have more interest than is necessary. If you look out to sea you usually look at the sky and horizon and the light on the water. Then maybe you see the hue of the sea and shadows under the waves, up to the shoreline. Should there be something of interest on the beach? I will keep trying. Art should be fun.
