Spring Watercolour Painting

The art group had a challenge for March, to produce a painting with the thyme of Spring.

This is quite a diverse subject and could mean many different things to individual people.
I decided to design and paint a garden scene with a path leading to a house. In the foreground we see potted flowers, a lawn with some trees, one is an almond tree in blossom.  The feature was a little swing hanging from a tree branch.  And let's not forget a rabbit in the bottom right hand corner.

Playing in the garden as a child is a fond memory and I believe it influences many of my paintings. Remember art should be fun. B
