I painted this beach scene because a sunset indicates The End Of Summer to me. Some may say how unromantic of me. Watercolour paint is my usual choice of medium on hot pressed paper.
The distant horizon as just a suggestion or line with some indication of buildings. It is low tide and the sun is setting making the sky orange and a pinkish gray. This is reflected on the ripples of water coming toward the viewer. I enjoyed painting this and it took me about three hours over two days. Remember art should be fun.
