Vases by a Window
This was the November 2023 art challenge for the group that I coordinate. The challenge was to paint images by a window or a source of light with attention to shadow and reflection. This is my artwork, Vases by a Window. The brushes in one of the vases is where I paint using the dining room table next to a large window. It is a small space that I have to keep clear. This took me 5 hours over 4 sittings and I worked from a reference photo for consistency. Try not to over complicate your paintings, after all art should be fun. B
